There's a present that's heating up many wedding and holiday gift
lists this year and it's about as personal a gift as you can give. The
gift is an artistic nude photograph.
Kenneth Wajda is an award-winning photographer who specializes in artistic
nude photography. He is considered one of America's premier photographers
of the female nude.
Created as an artistic piece worthy of framing in the home, they can
range from full figure to very abstract.
THE PROCESS
"When I'm working with a model, I tell them that really, I'm seeing
their body like I would a vase or any other three-dimensional object.
I am working on poses with light and am creating an image through the
recording of that light reflected off their body. Every body is beautiful
and my photography just captures its beauty through the use of light
and shadow." said Wajda.
And there is also the editing process, where I often turn the photo
into a monotone color (blue, sepia, magenta, etc.) or black & white
and sometimes add a bit of diffusion. This is all part of the "look"
of the final image that I create.
Finally, I complete the piece with professional framing or at the very
least, suggestions for framing if the client is going to order the framing.
TESTIMONIALS
"I was trying to decide what to get my fiancee for a wedding gift
when I came across Ken's website. I realized immediately that it was
the perfect idea. Nevertheless, I was a bit nervous leading up to the
shoot because I had never done anything like it before. I was in for
a pleasant surprise.
Ken immediately made me feel at ease. He is a very down-to-earth person,
but yet extremely professional. Throughout the shoot, Ken asked for
my input with poses and made sure that I was comfortable. In the middle
and at the end of the shoot, Ken sat down with me to look at the photos.
It was really great to participate in the process that way and to see
the results so quickly. I was amazed at how many of the photos I really
liked.
Only two days after the photo shoot, Ken sent my web preview gallery.
All of the photos were very tasteful and flattering. I found so many
photos that I liked, it was very difficult to choose between them. It
was a wonderful experience and I know that my fiancee is going to love
the results!
Thanks, Ken, so much for a great experience."

"Dear Ken,
Thank you so much for the beautiful photographs. Heading in to do something
like this was a little nerve-wracking for me, but you put me at ease
and I did not feel nervous at all! From the moment I met you, I knew
that what you had written on your website was 100% your philosophy and
we were really making beautiful art. Thank you for the beautiful photographs
that Wade and I can treasure for our lifetime.
I decided to go with you because of your statement you had written
on your website. I was impressed with your philosophies and ideals and
I thought in order to do this, it had to be done right. I chose you
because your ideas were right in line with mine. A friend of mine had
pictures taken of her in Chicago, but I didn't feel they really captured
the essence of how beautiful a woman is. When I looked at your work,
I could see that you are an artist.
Thank you for also giving me options. While you are the artist, I feel
you have always listened to my input and know you are respecting my
opinions about photographs that are ME! That is hugely important from
my point of view.
Thank you for a wonderful time. Wade and I really enjoyed meeting you
and Mary. And thank you for the beautiful photographs. I never knew
I could look so good!"
